FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long will my visit last?

Initial Office Visit

The Initial office visit usually takes 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete. After completing the registration and health questionnaires you will meet with Dr. Morgan for consultation and examination. You can save time by printing these forms and filling them out before your visit. Following the examination Dr. Morgan will discuss your examination findings and what treatment options might be appropriate for you. Also, if warranted, additional diagnostic imaging (x-ray, CT, MRI) will be considered at this point.

Routine Office Visit

Routine office visits usually last between 15 and 30 minutes to complete. A routine visit is for the ongoing treatment of a patient currently under care for a particular condition. A routine visit can also be scheduled for an established patient presenting for evaluation of a new condition.

What should I wear?

Loose fitting clothing is preferred. Although we have no set dress code looser clothing such as tee shirts or sport tops, and shorts or stretch pants are more comfortable for the patient and easier for the doctor to work with. We do have patient gowns and treatment shorts in the event your attire is not conducive to treatment.

What insurance carriers do you accept?

We accept most major insurances including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, Tufts, Always Health Plans, Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare and Fallon, as well as workers' compensation and auto insurance.

What happens if I can't make my appointment?

We ask that you kindly give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a visit. In order for us to serve you better we intentionally limit the number of our patients scheduled per hour. Not keeping a scheduled visit is costly to our practice and inconsiderate to other patients that could have used this time. As we are all human and prone to making mistakes, our office allows for one missed visit per calendar year. Patients missing subsequent visits within the calendar year will be charged a $25 missed visit fee.
